3/24: 467 words. The number of words I wrote today is roughly a page-and-a-half, and all of it was absolutely essential setting of the table for the events of the rest of the chapter. I don’t think it is disinteresting, but it wasn’t all that fun either. Also sometimes, I begrudge that it takes me 45-60 minutes to write a piece of fiction that someone will consume in 90-120 seconds.
