3/17: 379 words. Some chapters just have to end on a sour note. And this is one of them. Sort of. There’s some humor, but it’s dark. And someone is about to be extraordinarily unhappy at the outset of the next chapter. As long as I can land the emotions and build empathy in the reader, then I should be good. Feeling better about this chapter overall than the ones that precede it.
