2/2: 607 words. The thing about consistently writing every day is that it makes things easier. I know that’s no great revelation. But the difference between writing Forging Bonds and Seeking Sanctuary stands in such contrast to each other. There was a lot start-and-stop with Seeking Sanctuary because of my trial schedule and some uncertainty with how to proceed with certain parts of the story. It took me nine months to write that second book. Whereas, I’ve been much more consistent with Forging Bonds, and am on pace to finish it much more quickly. I’ve been writing it for 2 1/2 months and am just over 30,000 words in (about 40%, if it ends up a similar length as the other two).

Don't miss anything about projects I'm working on, new books you should be looking for, and articles about the craft and business of writing. I'll also give you the first three chapters of my novel, Vulcan Rising.
