4/13: 261 words. This may seem crazy, and it may also be total coincidence. The last thing I told myself before I went to sleep last night was that I needed my brain to be working on the story while I slept so that it would be ready to engage and get words on paper this morning. When my alarm went off at 5:00am, I got up and jumped into the shower as usual. I started thinking about what I was going to write, and my brain transitioned to the last chapter. Up to that point, I knew where it would take place and what needed to happen but not how I would accomplish it. But now I know. I figured out exactly how the trilogy needs to close out, and I think it’s a satisfying ending that ties up all the loose ends.
