Why have a writing blog? Depending on what day it is, the answer is either (1) to share my writing experiences and processes, or (2) the more likely scenario — to avoid the hard work of, you know, actually working on my writing projects.

When I started my law blog in 2016, I had specific goals of what it would mean for my law practice. Those goals have changed over the years, but it remains an intrinsic part of my marketing plan and is an integral complement to my practice. But this writing blog? I don’t have a vision for it yet. I do not have any expectation for what it will become or what it’s ultimate purpose will be.

So if you go on this journey with me, we will figure it out together. Or not. But regardless, at least we’ll have the journey.

Don't miss anything about projects I'm working on, new books you should be looking for, and articles about the craft and business of writing. I'll also give you the first three chapters of my novel, Vulcan Rising.
