12/27: With the editing done on Vulcan Rising and having let my brain have a few days of rest, I decided to jump back into writing today.
I hadn’t necessarily intended for today to be that day. But I woke up in the wee hours thinking about the first chapter of the book. For the first time, I had some specific ideas of what would transpire. So I pulled myself out of the cozy, warm bed, started a cup of coffee, and got to writing the first chapter of Walls Ascending.
